WepreviouslyreportedthatlymphocytopeniaandTcellexhaustionisnotableinacuteCOVID19patients,especiallyinagedandseverecases.Thymosinalpha1(Tα1)hadbeenusedinthetreatmentofviralinfectionsasanimmuneresponsemodifierformanyyears.However,clinicalbenefitsandmechanismofTα1supplementtoCOVID-19arestillunclear.
